The mission of the World Literacy Organization (WLO) is to promote literacy and quality education worldwide, transforming lives and communities. Through global partnerships and innovative programs, we are dedicated to eradicating illiteracy, empowering individuals, and strengthening communities, ensuring that all people, regardless of their location or socioeconomic status, have access to equitable and sustainable educational opportunities.

Training and Academic Development Programs by Grade

Our institution is committed to offering educational programs that meet the diverse training needs of communities. Below, we present our programs organized by grades, designed to provide integral and continuous development:

Grades

Grade 0

Aimed at communities with literacy needs, providing training programs that develop reading and writing skills.

Grade 1

Aimed at communities with demonstrable skills but without formal academic qualifications, workers with empirical knowledge who need to formalize their knowledge academically.

Grade 2

Aimed at communities of technical high school graduates, technologists, or higher technicians who wish to continue their professional training.

Grade 3

Aimed at communities of professionals with university degrees who wish to update their knowledge through continuing education programs or 4th level degrees.

LAC Academic Development Program 2024

The World Literacy Organization (WLO), through the “2024 Academic Development Program for Latin America and the Caribbean”, in collaboration with various governments, ministries, and institutions in the region, seeks to benefit a large portion of the population through academic programs tailored to the different needs of Latin American citizens.

These resources may include courses, experts, diplomas, master's degrees, bachelor's degrees, doctorates, and other means tailored to the specific needs of each country and sector.

In close collaboration with the governments, ministries, and educational institutions of each country in the region, thus providing comprehensive development tools to all its inhabitants, positively impacting the social and economic sphere of each participating country.
